Kindling

When we come into the spiritual world we will not be asked what we believed, but how we lived. -Divine Providence 101

We may not have all the right answers, but we sure do love asking questions! Religion is often presented as a string of answers that we need to learn, or beliefs we must conform to, but in the New Church, we think of religion as more of an invitation. "Come let us reason together," says the Lord. Religion is an invitation to ask questions and seek out answers to help us live our best lives!

In the Kindling podcast Pastors Alan and Steven face some of the big questions about faith and life, and they invite the listener to consider how Scripture and the Writings for the New Church might impact the way we try to live life together.

We aren't here to have the conversation for you and tell you how to think, but we hope that the thoughts we share help you to engage with the Lord's Word and feel a closer connection to Him and to the people in your life. In other words, our goal is to help the Lord kindle a fire in your heart.
